What is Sylvan Studios
Sylvan Studios is where I handmake make things I love! While the studio currently focuses on ballet attire, it is envisioned as a growing lifestyle space, one that naturally extends from the studio into the kitchen, the home, and everyday life.

Sylvan Studios is defined by a deep attention to detail and a love for refinment. Each piece begins with a classic ballet silhouette and thoughtfully elevated through delicate lace, subtle textures, and carefully chosen prints --creating pieces that feel both elevated and unique.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Ready-to-Wear
Ready-to-wear orders are processed within 3–5 business days.
Made-to-Order
Made-to-order pieces have an estimated production timeline of 2–4 weeks due to material sourcing and production time, though many orders are completed sooner whenever possible.
You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Do you offer custom orders?
Yes! I offer custom orders on a limited basis depending on capacity. If you have a specific design idea or request, please fill out the Custom Request Form under “Shop.” I review each submission and will reach out if I am able to take on your order.
How do I take my measurements?
For the most accurate fit, you’ll need a soft fabric measuring tape. •Stand naturally with your feet together and keep the tape level all the way around your body. For best results, measure over fitted clothing or undergarments. If you don’t have a fabric measuring tape, you can use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler.
Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waist, keeping the tape comfortably snug but not tight. •
Hip: Measure around the widest part of your hips, typically around the fullest part of the butt.
What sizes do you offer?
My 'Made to Order' circle skirts are available in two sizes:
XS/Small- Waistband stretch: Up to 40 inch
Medium/ Large- Waistband stretch: Up to 47 inch
My 'Ready to Wear' skirts have their individual sizing information available on each product page.

Do you restock items?
'Ready to Wear' pieces may include both seasonal designs and 'Limited Edition' styles. Those labeled 'Limited Edition' are made using unique materials and will not be restocked once sold out. Other 'Ready to Wear' skirts may be apart of a collection or simply designs I especially love. These may be available for remake upon request, depending on material availability.
'Made to Order' skirts are thoughtfully created just for you, beginning only after your order is placed. Each piece is cut and sewn by hand, carrying the same design as shown.
These skirts are part of a slower, more intentional process, shaped by the rhythm of the materials and the time it takes to craft something with care. Because of this, please allow additional time for creation before your piece is ready to ship. Current estimated production timeline is 2–4 weeks due to material sourcing and construction time, though many orders are completed sooner whenever possible. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Most 'Made to Order' designs remain available as part of the Sylvan Signature collection, unless a fabric becomes scarce or is no longer available.
How should I take care of my piece?
Designed to be danced in, your Sylvan piece also deserves thoughtful care. Gently hand wash in cold water and let it air dry. Light steaming will help release wrinkles, which will soften over time as the piece moves with you. Avoid heat and harsh treatments to preserve its shape and feel. Handle with care to avoid runs and snags. (Garment bags are in the works)
